About Me

How I got here, and how I work
I got started building websites in basic HTML and moved throughout school and university expanding my skillset into CSS and newer front-end web technologies. After graduating I took an internal position undertaking SEO focused development of commercial websites for a large agency, after 3 years internal agency experience I decided to start out on my own.Through my 7 years freelance experience I have been blessed to undertake exciting, challenging projects for local and global clients. Getting to see a project from conception to design to development and the journey to the end product has always been a fulfilling experience, and I wouldn't want to be doing anything else with my time.
I take a special interest in animations and working with vector graphics to guide the user's journey and attention through the website (also I think it looks really awesome) and consider it an area of speciality. 
As far as work flow goes, I work with Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for graphics, HTML, CSS and JS for simple brochure websites incorporating a wordpress CMS, Chrome Dev Tools for debugging, and AngularJS, mongoDB, express and NodeJS for demanding webapps.
